PARCEL POST BAZAAR

SUCCESS AT HUNTLY A successful parcel post bazaar was held in the Presbyterian Sunday School Hall, Huntly, recently by the members of the Knox Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild, in aid of church funds. The appeal for gifts by parcel post was very well responded to, and those in charge of the stall did good business. Several competitions and games were held during the afternoon and proved enjoyable. Afternoon tea was also provided. The winners of the various competitions were:—Quoits, the Rev. J. J. Heard and Mr A. Capstick (Pukekapia) ; putting the ring on the bottle, the Rev. J. J. Heard and Miss J. Trail; guessing the weight of a cake (made and donated by Mrs T. G. Stephenson), Mrs S. Smith.
