LONDON, April 1 Tlie Lerida correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, says that General Franco’s troops vainly attacked for four days. It Is clear that If the loyalists, who have been promised adequate support fit men and munitions from Madrid, can hold their positions for 24 hours longer, they may save Lerida. General Franco’s troops admit that the capture of Lerida may be indefinitely delayed.
