CARD EVENING

MORRINSVILLE MOUTHORQAN BAND The Morrinsville Mouthorgan Band held a successful five hundred evening in the Parish Hall recently. The ladies’ prizes were won by Mrs. J. Jones 1 ’first), Mrs. E. V. Cunnold (second), a Mrs. F. Robinson (consolation) ; men, c Mr. W. Dench (first), Mr. Anderson J (second) and Mr. D. Jones (consola- 1 tlon). Later in the evening dancing was s enjoyed, items being given by members of the band. The evening was 1 well-attended and the enthusiasm p augurs well for the success of the band this winter.
