Feb. 16 Ethel Strouse 2‘J and Genevieve Owens 17 have been convicted of murder. They will be sentenced to imprisonment for life. On January 4 two girls, aze d 20 and 17 respectively, confessed that they fatally shot a bus driver on December 21 during a hold-up which netted them two dollars. The elder girl, Ethel Strousc, daughter of a patrolman, admitted that she fired the fatal shot. The other girl, Genevieve Owens, admitted driving a stolen car.
