Buttsxvorth, a Queensland farmer, with a score of 347 points. Buttsworth’s score was an Australian record. The possible was 355. Buttsworth won £SOO prize and other trophies. In the Melbourne match, ten shots at 600 yards, Masefield, Jeune and Spry (49), won £l, Croxton, Soler, Wrlgley. Hussell, Smith (48), West, Jones (47), won 10s. In the Sydney match, ten shots at 800 yards. Feist, Hussell, Nicholls, Bowes, Wriglev, Purvis .49), won 10s. In the Fishers Phosperine match, ten shots at 900 yards, James and Donald (49;, won £1; Hunt, Masefield, Symons, Wilton and Farlev 47 t won 10s.
