Feb. 10 Jean Borotra's amateur status lias been called to question owing lo his 30,000 francs, awarded by the Acad- j Borotra handed over the prize as a : gift to Hie French Lawn Tennis Federation but the sporting paper L'Auto points out a resolution of the Olympic Committee which deprives amateur* of their status if they accept such 1 prizes.
