FAREWELL PARTY

BRIDGE AFTERNOON IN HONOUR OF MRS BURTENSHAW Mrs H. J. Greenslade was hostess at a pleasant bridge party held at the Lyceum Club on Thursday afternoon in honour of Mrs T. A. Burtenshaw, who will leave shortly on a visit to England and America. In the lounge, where afternoon tea was served later, lovely bowls of pink horizontal lilies, pink hydrangeas and red Erica had been arranged. To receive her guests Airs Greenslade wore a frock of black lace, Airs Burtenshaw wearing primrose crepe faille with a hat to tone. The prizewinners nt the conclusion of the afternoon's play were:—Aliss M. de Renzy .'auction), Mrs Jack Chitty (contract), and Mrs D. Robertson (consolation). The guests present were: Mrs A. L.
