CHILDREN IN CAMP
BENEFICIAL EFFECTS ABSENCE OF CASUALTIES “ We have been favoured with good weather and the children have already settled down to camp life," stated Mr W. H. Paul, chairman of the Waikato Children's Camp League to-day. The children enjoyed yesterday’s fine weather and spent a quiet day swimming at the beach." Already the beneficial effects of camp life had been seen in the healthy appetites developed by the children, said Mr Paul. Everything had gone smoothly and there had been no casualties. A party of Huntly boy scouts was camped nearby and had accepted an invitation to have lunch with the children to-day.
