AN INTOXICATED MOTORIST (By Telegraph.—Free? Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday A month's Imprisonment was the sentence Imposed to-day on Stanley Edward Dyer, a labourer. When Dyer was charged with being Intoxicated while in charge of a car on December 24, Sub-Inspector Mac Lean 6ald he had been convicted and had his licence cancelled until January, .1938, when he was charged with a similar offence earlier in this year. Dyer was married with a family, but being on sustenance, could ill-afford either to drink or incur the expense of a rental car, which he had obtained.
