Vltement was on terms with Amigo as they raced to the turn with Eastern Heir following In front or Sluver Cloud and Taurangi. Amigo won well by a length Trorn Taurangi, who beat Eastern Heir by a similar margin. Silver Cloud was fourth and then caine Vltement. Time, 1.14. WAITEMATA HANDICAP or £350; 1J miles, a—AWHIOWHIO. Tray Bit had hit the rront as the field approached the turn and be came into the straight just in from of Stretto, Galilee, Airam, Trilliarch and Orate. Nothing had a chance with Stretto over the deciding stages or the running and she won as she liked by three lengths from Tray Bit, and the fast-finishing Manugakaha, whom the judge was unable to separate.
