RETURNS FOR LAST MONTH The value represented by building permits issued in November for the erection of new dwellings, a decrease of 29 on the total in October. These figures include particulars of new buildings or major alterations commenced, in the larger centres, by Government Departments and education boards, although permits were not actually Issued. Figures for November, 1937. were: New dwellings, 155; other new buildings. |; alterations, etc., 2: total value. £165,231.
