The police dug up the body of Jeanne Keller at a spot indicated by Eugene Weidmann, who has confessed several murders in the forest of Fontainebleau. The skeleton of an unknown man was found chained and padlocked to three trees in the forest of La Feuillerotte, near Dijon. There were empty phials nearby. It Is assumed that the man has been dead six months. A small bag contained English bank-notes, Swedish money, and the card of a Swedish Countess. Weidmann has retracted the confession that he murdered Le Blond, for which he blames his associate Roger Millions (25), but Millions denies that he murdered Le Blond.
