DUEL IN BUDAPEST.
THE LONGEST IN HISTORY GOES TO 51ST. ROUND DOCTOR AND ENGINEER FIGHT United Press A?sn.—Elec. Tel. 'Copyright (Received August 24, 11 a.m.) BUDAPEST, August 23. A duel believed to be the longest in history was fought by an engineer namd Zboropjaj, and Dr .Prueler, fencing expe'rt. The duel lasted two and a-half hours. They used light cavalry sabres. Both were wounded early in the combat and again in the twelfth round, when the seconds wanted to stop the fight which continued until the 51st. round, when it was declared ended owing to the exhaustion of the duellists.
The duel originated over an argument at a meeting.
