WAITANGI SUGGESTED.
NAME FOR NEW PROVINCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, Thursday. In connection with the .move for provincial status In the north, the Whangarei Harbour Board this morning passed a motion supporting the project and suggesting the name Waltangi for the territory. The board also decided to chango the name of the deep water port, Kioreroa, to Pori Whangarei.
