GAS EMPLOYEES.
NATIONAL BALLOT PROPOSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. Ry a ballot to lie taken on Monday ami Tuesday next gas employees throughout the Dominion, including the clerical staffs, will determine whether they are in favour of joining the national union. The question concerns approximately 1700 workers. The New Zealand 'las Workers and Allied Trades Industrial Union of Workers was formed in February la *t. Ballot papers are returnable to the Labour I mpnrl .unit. Wellington.
