STOCK SALE.
RATES AT TE KUITI. Messrs Palgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual sale at Te Kuitl on Friday, when a small yarding of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle came forward. Both sheep and cattle were in demand, and the total entry was disposed of under the hammer at late rates. Fat and forward two-tooth wethers made 28s 6d to 29s 8d; medium conditioned empty ewes, 11s to 14s; medium, five-year ewes, Romney and Southdown rams, 325. medium b.f. hoggets, 16s lid; fat and forward b.f. hoggets 18s; fat Jersey bullooks £6 12s 6d; medium weight cows, £5 6s; .medium, three and a-half year old Polled Angus steers, £7 10s; small two and a-half year old Polled Angus steers, £5 7s; small Polled Angus steer calves, £3 10s to £3 18s; aged Polled Angus cows, r.w. Polled Angus bull, £4 14s to £5 4s; rougli Shorthorn and Hereford cross cows, running with Polled Angus bull, £3 17s; forward conditioned Jersey cows, £3 to £3 ss: medium, £2 15s; boners, £1 10s to £1 17s; medium Polled Angus heifer calves, £3; small Jersey heifer calves, 24s to 345: good broken cullers, £2 3s to £2 4s: good two-year-old dairy heifers, July-August calvers, £5 2s; later calvers, £4 lls.
