NO MORE CONCERTS.
PAUL ROBESON’S DETERMINATION “I AM SCARED STIFF.” Paul Robeson, the Negro singer, has decided neve- to sing on a concert platform again. He will sing only for films, the radio, and records. “I am sure that if I were to go on singing at concerts for the next five years I should be dead at the end of that time,” he said. “For hours before eve-y concert I have been afraid something would go wrong. Perhaps it is an exaggerated form of stage fright. Whether I am scared of something or nothing, I know I am scared —scared stiff.”
