INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
TWINS IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. Two children, twins, aged four years, were admitted to the Balclutha Hospital to-day. One, a boy, is a positive case of infantile paralysis, and the other, a girl, is for observation. SOUTHLAND CABE. MAN BADLY PARALYSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Sunday. The first case of infantile paralysis in Inveroargill and the eighth in Southland was admitted to the Southland Hospital on Saturday afternoon. The patient, a middle-aged man, is fairly extensively paralysed. There are now five cases in the Southland Hospital. A boy from Lumsden, the’ first case to : be admitted, has been discharged with i slight paralysis In his arm.
