TE KUITI STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Limited, Te Kuiti, report having had their usual sale at Te Kuiti on Friday, when sheep were penned much in excess of advertised numbers. The entry consisted for tbe main part of lines of owes and of fat and store lambs, with a small penning of wethers. There was a good attendance or buyers and a very good sale with almost a total clearance resulted. Lambs were Arm for fat and forward conditioned sorts, while well-grown stores and owe lambs sold at late rates. Backward sorts and culls were easier in value. Ewes were in keen demand and while we did not pen any first-class lines, any lines suitable for breeding sold under keen competition at advanced rates. Wethers sold at late ruling rates. Medium fat lambs made S?3s sd; light and plain sorts, 20s to 2 1s; fair ewe lambs, 23s 6d to 2 is-3d: medium ewe lambs, 10s io 20s: medium sorts. 15s 9d to 17s 6d; m.s. lambs fair quality, 17s 10d to 18s 6d ; medium, 15s Gd to 16s Gd; small, Us to its; culls, 8s to 9s; good down cross lambs, 17s lid to 20s; medium down iambs, lis 8d to I IGs: medium Romney wether lambs, | 1 6s I Id In 18s: store wethers, 22s Gd ! to 23s Gd: rnix aged owes. 20s; live j and six-year ewes, 255, to 265, to 27s 2d. six and seven-year ewes, 18s ; Gd, 225, 22s Id. failing ewes made 14s Io 17s. according to condition, thin | s.m. ewes 15s to 16?, culls 8s to 12s, j two-tooth Romney rams sold at 11 guineas.
