FAREWELL AFTERNOON.
TAUPIRI FUNCTION. An afternoon held at the residence of Mrs W. Moore, Orini Road, Taupiri, recently was largely attended, occasion being taken by a number of friends to bid farewell to Mrs J. P. Sadler, who is shortly to leave the district. During the afternoon competitions were held, and were won by Mrs J. Murphy and Miss M. Sadler. On behalf of those present Mrs S. Clarke, in expressing regret at Mrs Sadler's departure, presented her with a salad set and a bouquet of daffodils. Mrs Sadler suitably replied.
