Murray, both ~ f \Vanganul, made inquir‘r-s regardinl the missing muneyl .\laurice Edward Alexander. aged 3!. single, employed as a teller in the bank. was arrested and to-day appeared before a justice or the peace clxarggtl that on June 10. being a servant m the employ of the bank. he stole the sum of £7300. the property of the bank.
Accused was remanded to appeal“ at \Vanganui to-morrow. It is understood that the “hole 01' the money has been recovered.

Mr ‘W. C. Bainbridge asked {or ball. stating that the whole of the money had been handed back by the accused. The police offered no objection, and the magistrate said under the circumstances he would fix it at self £2OO and a. similar surety, accused to report daily to the police at Mansaweka‘
