On Wednesday afternoon members of the Cambridge Croquet Club and‘ visitors from other clubs met at the home of Mrs M. Butler (.president).l where .\liss E. Hooker (secretary of: the Cambridge Club) joined with .\irsi Butler in welcoming the guests. . The room was artistically decorated with golden calondulas and autumn leaves. Mrs Butler was wearing a black frock and coatee to match; Miss Hook—er a saxe blue wool frock, Mrs J. But—ler mustard marocain, and .\liss Nan Butler brown crepe de 'chlne. During the afternoon, bridge and 300 were played. the winners being Mrs W. Hooker and Mrs H. Goodwin. Among those present were z—lles—names Murray. Hopkirk. Jas. \Vatt, Harvey. Rodgers, .\lcCann. Fen—court and Brnnfwood) were the host—esses at a social afternoon of tiic Ladies‘ Guild of the Trinliy Presbyterian Church recently.
