DOMINION CENTENARY.

CONFERENCE DEFERRED. (By Telegraph—press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The date of the preliminary conferience between the Minister of Internal 'Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, and the Mayors of cities and boroughs which were old provincial capitals, to devise plans for the celebration of the New Zealand cententry, has been deferred from February 26 to March 2. The alteration is made to meet the convenience of the Mayors, who will arrive in Wellington al the beginning of March en route to attend the Municipal Conference at Napier.
