BRITISH-ISRAEL TRUTH.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —“Facts” again contests the truth that the House of Windsor is directly descended from the line of Judah. We can but remind him that at Windsor Castle there hangs the geneological tree supporting this outstanding fact. Further, the connection of the British Empire with the House of Israel is butressed by the fact that the Stone of Destiny exists as part and parcel of the Coronation Chair, and has for centuries remained in Westminster Abbey as a silent witness to the promises made by Jehovah to Abraham, Isaac,. Jacob, etc., and also that there should never want a king to sit on the throne of David. Brutus founded the city of London about the same time that King David founded Zion, and they were two branches of the same Judah stock. The Kingdom of the House of David was transferred to and set up in Britain over “Israel in the Isles” at the same time approximately that Nebuchadnezzer was granted his kingdom by the God of Heaven, as set forth in the second chapter of Daniel. Turn where we will—to the religious life, to the national life, or to the economical life of the British Empire—we And very evident traces of early connection with the Hebrews, some of which have been handed down since before the introduction of Christianity. Israel was commanded by Moses to build an altar of stones, and write thereon the commandments very plainly, so as to be seen and easily read by all the congregation. In our national Church the same tiling is featured. The Hebrews’ belief in God is ours of the present day; to that, of course, is now added the belief and acceptance of the Son of God; Judah (the Jewish branch) rejected Him; Israel received Him. The Welsh are still known as the Cymri—a Hebrew name. So near is the resemblance between the Druidical religion of Britaiu and the patriarchal religion of the Hebrews that their origin is pronounced by those competent to judge as the same; and, above all, British history furnishes the fulfilment of Israel prophecy. Our system of weights and measures are akin to those of the Hebrew. Many people cannot see any connection between the spiritual and the material, yet the history of the world proves the higher a nation’s ideals the greater has been its prosperity. Jesus Christ laid down the basic principle of the perfect economic system. To-day Divine laws are acting like the laws of gravitation, and demanding decognition. Human experiment in the sphere of human government has failed, but the idea that God’s way will have to be tried is dawning, in at least isome mature minds. God has revealed plainly that man’s freedom to act was confined to 2520 years (seven times) from the period" of Nebuchadnezer. The question *of German “kultur” versus Anglo-Saxon constitutional liberty (augmented by the operation of the Common Law) came to grips in 1914. The Israel type of civilisation naturally won, and the Israel civilisation marched out frgm the conflict predominant in the councils of the earth. Since then she has been untiring in the cause of peace; but the Babylonian empires will have none of this commodity. One great scene still remains to be presented, one series of acts to be performed; then the great consummation, when Israel law-, Israel faith and Israel organisation will be universally accepted in the earth, to be administered by the King of Kings.—l am, etc., BRITISHER.
