WAGONS DERAILED.

FIVE ELEPHANTS INVOLVED. ACCIDENT NEAR WAIKINO. (Special to Times.) WAIHI, Thursday. Three wagons, containing five cirrus elephants, were derailed near Waikino, in the early hours of this morning. The wagons were attached to a special train taking a circus from Thames to Tauranga. No serious damage resulted from the mishap, and none of the animals was injured. The line was soon cleared, and traffic proceeded without interruption. It is on record that a similar derailment in New Zealand was caused by > «n elephant plunging about, in a wagon.
