NOTE LEFT BY DECEASED. IN LOVE WITH A STEWARD. United Press Assn —Klee. Tel. Copyright SYDNEY, Dec. 13. After leaping from the boat deck of the liner Monterey, a stowaway, Phyllis Elbon, was drowned. Miss Elbon, who was 22, left a note in a cabin saying that she was in love with a steward on the Monterey, whom she had met ashore in Mel* bourne on December C.
