£137,000 CLAIM.

DECISION RESERVED. LYSNAR v. NATIONAL BANK. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The hearing of evidence in the case in which W. D. Lysnar, of Gisborne, is proceeding against the National Bank of New Zealand was concluded in Die Supreme Court this afternoon. The case involves the sum of £137,000. ■ The proceedings were commenced at Gisborne on September 2,- and adjourned to Wellington on September 14. In Gisborne the actual hearing of evidence occupied nine days, and two night sittings, and four and a-half days were devoted to the proceedings in Wellington. The evidence occupied 170 foolscap pages, and there were 140 exhibits.

Mr Justice Blair, who heard the case, reserved his decision.
