(Received Aug. "27, 3 p.m.) CALGARY, Aug. 26. Air W. Aberhart slates that the Social Credit Legislature will be called to meet on September 3. The R Government has resigned. Mr Aberhart states that the -a dollars a month social credit bonus will nod be paid if it threatens Alberta with bankruptcy. In predicting a new election m Alberta within six months, the Premier, Mr R. G. Reid, warns Mr Aberhart that he cannot expect me other provinces to make sacrifices to help Alberta’s fantastic experiment. Mr G G. McGeer, Mayor ol Vancouver, who is back from an Alberta campaign on behalf of the Libeia s, declares that
Mr Abechart’s 26 dollars a month promise is the most cruel hoax ever perpetrated o.n a suffering people by a group of visionary, impractical political adventurers.
