A bio-chemical discovery of considerable importance was revealed[ here before the American Chemical Society with the announcement that Professor Evans, of the University of 'Califoinia, who in 1922 identified Vitamin B, haa finally succeeded in isolating an element found in the wheat germ, lettuce and cotton seed, and some other green vegetables, the vitamin of m the diet of mammals produces sterility. The scientist succeeded in obtaining crvstals wth high Vitamin E potency, and stated that he expected to produce the element in commercial quantities yrithin ninety days.
