JLiORD NUFFIELD GIVES £SOOO.

RUGBY, August 21A gift of £SOOO by Lord Nuffield has enabled the National Institute for the ■Blind and St. Dunstan’s to begin the compilation of a library of talking books," which will be recorded foi mechanical reproduction. Special machines for tne use of the blind are being manufactured. Some 25 titles have, already been selected ranging from the Gospel of St. John to modern thrillers.
