HONOLULU TO NEW ZEALAND. EXTENSION OF PACIFIC LINE. MR HAROLD CATTY’S MISSION. United Press Assn.—Elec. TCI. Copyright SYDNEY, Aug. 21. The Sun says it is learned on good authority that when Mr Harold Catty, who sailed by the Mariposa to-day, reaches New Zealand, lie will open negotiations with tlie Dominion authorities regarding an extension by PanAmerican Airways of its Pacific air line from Honolulu to New Zealand. Mr Catty is technical adviser to PanAmerican Airways. The airman was not prepared to. discuss the details, hut indicated that the farthest an air line established by American interests would come would be New Zealand. It was possible such an air line might not come right through to New Zealand, hut might end at American territory in SamoaThe concluding link would ho a British operated one, via Fiji.
