WAIKATO SOUTH DISTRICT. MEETING OF COMMITTEES. The annual meeting of ttm . G ' rl Guide committees of the Waikato South district was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Ngaruawahia, recently, when the district commissioner, Mrs J. D. Joy, presided over a well-attend-ed meeting. The balance-sheet of the executive showed a credit balance of £4 4s. Reports and balance-sheets were submitted for the Ngaruawahia Guide Company by Captain Davies, for the Iluntly Company by Captain .Icssop, and 'for the Ngaruawahia Brownie Pack by Brown Owl Ensor. All reports showed that good progress had been made with the Guide and Brownie work. , , , The following officers were elected for the district executive President, Mrs G. 13. Isdale; committee, Mesdamcs Knowlson and Kennedy (Pukemirol. Mesdames Forster, Ferguson r,nd Elliott (Huntly), Mesdames Murphv, Reekie and Wareing (Taupiri), and Mesdames Linton, Marriott and Adams (Ngaruawahia). Mesdames Loughnan and Brown were enrolled by the district commissioner, Mrs Joy. as members of Uf**
