PREFERENTIAL VOTING.
COMMENT BY PREMIER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Prime Minister, (lie lit. Hon. 0. W. Forbes, said to-day that the matter of introducing preferential voting next, election had not come before him. lie was unable to say more Ilian that. Attempts had been made to secure the passage of a preferential voting bill, but. there was a tack of enthusiasm for the measure.
