WEDDING.
GUNN—MUNRO. The marriage was solemnised at St.. David’s Presbyterian Church, IvhybeiPass, on July 6, between Gwendoline Winifred, second daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Munro, of Auckland, late of Te Aroha, and Geoffrey William, only son of Mr and Mrs W- -Gunn, Prospect 'Terrace, Paeroa. The ceremony was performed- by the Rev. BowerBlack, and Mr E. S. Cranston officiated at the organ. . On entering the church the bride wore a graceful gown of cream satin spot Crepe faille cut on Grecian lines, the neckline being slightly draped and the sleeves very full. ■ The skirt was tight fitting to- the knees, then flared out to form a train and a silver plaited girdle was worn at the waistline. She wore a beautiful veil of embroidered tulle held in place with a cap of silverlace and a halo of orange blossoms and carried a -sheaf of arum lilies. The Misses Jean and Lorraine Munro (sisters of the bride), were the bridesmaids and wore frocks of parchment and red floral georgette, cut on slender -lines, with, -c-owll necklines, held in place by sprays of red flowers, and sleeves fully puffed to below the elbows. The skirts fitted tightly lo the knees, then fell gracefully in eight piece flares, and red velvet sashes were worn at the waist. - They wore parchment georgette and tulle pancake hats turned up at the back and finished with red velvet ribbon and carried muffs of red velvet. Mr James McGlynn, of Thames, was best man, and Mr Leo. Ganley, of. Paeroa, acted as groomsman. A reception was afterwards held at the Penrith dining rooms, Mrs Munro receiving her guests wearing a navy blue costume with furs and hat to tone. ’
When Mr and Mrs 0. W. Gunn left for the honeymoon the hrlde was wearing a wine costume with furs and hat to match. _____
