HAPPY AFTERNOON.

PLEASANT TIME SPENT. A very happy afternoon was held in the Y.M.C.A. -lounge on Wednesday afternoon by the Junior Ladies’ Club. Badminton, bridge and a competition were enjoyed and a delicious afternoon tea was -served.

The room was -charmingly arranged with bowls of spring flowers. The competition was won by Mrs J. D. Edgeoumbe. Those present were:—Mesdames Cox, Tiller, M. D. Walker, Yendell, Blackie, Abraham, Morris, Edgecumbe, Walker, Boden, Duncan. Runnerstrum, Dickie.
