ACCOUNTANT FOR SENTENCE.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. A plea of guilty was made by Henry Frederick George Cox, for 16 years accountant to the firm of J. J. Niven and Company, Limited, when he was charged in the Magistrate’s Court today with the theft of £557 Is 2d, the property of the firm. It was alleged that the misappropriations had taker place from November of last year till June this year. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
