MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED.

CRASH INTO TRUCK. (Dy Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. As the result of a motor-cycle accident this afternoon, Otto Robert White, aged 17, son of Air Otto €. White, a hairdresser, of New Brighton, the rider of the machine, was killed, and his companion. Francis Beardsley, aged 18, of Lonsdale Street, New Brighton, who was pillion-riding, was badly injured.

The accident happened in Page's Road, the motor-cycle the youths were riding crashing into the rear of a carrier’s truck, owned by -Mr E. L. Smith and driven by Mr William Anderson Barclay. i
