A sub-committee of the Senate’s unofficial silver bloc decided that Mr 11. Morgenthau's recent letter on the Administration’s silver purchase policy was most unsatisfactory. The full silver group will meet on Wednesday to discuss the letter ami a pruposed plan of action for consideration by Congress. The ’silver group contends that purchases should go on in accordance with the law, stipulating I hat buying shall continue until silver readies oncfourth of the total metallic currency reserve.
