There was no play in the match between Lancashire and the South Africans before lunch, and rain and bad light eventually confined Lancashire batting to two hours. Bell bowled admirably. Lancashire lost five wickets for 2 5 runs in 50 minutes. ' y IJopwood saved the rout. . ■Scores;—
