ELECTRIC BELL AMISS. RELAPSE OF FORMER COMPLAINT^ TO BE RETURNED HOME, Electric Bell has -suffered a relaptf ■and is to be withdrawn from her engagements at the approaching Auckland meeting. She will return to Ashhurst and be placed oil the easy list until the spring. Mr A. B. de Malmanche and W. Orange, owner and trainer of the mara respectively stated this morning that the mare had suffered a relapse and in the interests of the publio they had decided to withdraw her immediately; from pending engagements. Prior to the recent Winter Show meeting at Claudelands, where the running of the mare was the subject of inquiry, she had to be easedtip in her work but two days prior to the fixture she made a complete recovery and it was then thought that her condition was -such to justify their starting her with reasonable prospects of success. Since the Waikato meeting she had been making good progress at Claudeiands in preparation for the Auckland meeting and it is a piece of bad fortune for her connections that till present trouble has recurred just now.
