KETTLE OVERTURNS.

CHILD BADLY SCALDED. TAIJRANGA, Tuesday. A 12-mon'hs-old child, the daughter of Mr and Mrs T. O. Denman, was badly burned at Te Puke oh Sunday. The child was playing in the kitchen and managed to grasp tiie cord of an electric kettle, which she pulled over. Her body, hands and feet were severely burned by Die boiling water. She was immediately taken lo the Te Puko Hospital. Her condition tills morning was satisfactory.
