Dalgety and Company, Auckland, report on their Wcstileld fat stock sale to-day as follows: “We sold 207 head of beef comprising A 1 steers, and IGG cows and heifers, against 483 head last week. A good demand for all classes of beef resulted in quotations remaining the same as last week. “Extra choice ox made to 24s per 1001 b; choice and prime, 21s to 235; Just killahle, 1 7s to 10s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 20s to 235; just killahle, 14s to 10s; heavy prime steers ranged in price from £lO 10s to £lO 17s Gd; lighter prime, £S 2s Gd to £0; light prime, £G 15s to £7 17s Gil; small and unfinished, £5 2s Gd to £G 10s; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £G to £G 17s Gd; heavy prime cows and heifers, £0 to £0 17s Gd; tighter prime, £3 5s to £4 15s; other killahle cows, £1 10s to £3."
