PLAY IN SOUTH AUCKLAND

FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW,

Association football in the South Auckland Province has aroused more enthusiasm this season than for many years past. The games have been characterised by clean open play throughout and have maintained the Interest of a keen hand of followers. The South Auckland championship competition will be advanced a further stage to-morrow when the sixth series of games will toe played. At Seddon Park Hamilton Wanderers will endeavour to make amends for last week’s defeat, when they will meet the visiting Rotowaro team. 'Rotowaro are just behind Wanderers on the championship table and a win to-mor-row will see them ahead of the local team. Mr E. R. Marsh will toe the referee. Huntly and Rovers will meet on the former’s gTound and Huntly enthusiasts should see a good •contest. Rovers were beaten In their previous encounter with this team, but will put up a stlffer challenge this time. Owing to Glen Afton’s withdrawal from the competition Pukemlro will have a bye. The senior teams to represent the Hamilton clubs to-morrow will be as follows: — Wanderers. Raven, Gardiner, McLean, Clarkson, Caldwell, Bullock, A. Crabb, J. Stewart, Jim Stewart, Donaldson, Farr. Reserves, Clark, Rennie. Intermediate. Kernott, Ashton, Kirk, Gurnell, Mangnal, Cable, D. Crabb, Robson, €. Crabb, Rennie, Iremonger. Reserves: C. Mangnal, Jackson. Depart Para Rubber Corner, 1.30 p.m. Claudelands Rovers. Webster, Wright, Don Crabb, Hands, ,T. Crabb, Neal, Rogers, Kennedy Collins, Martin, Wallace. Reserves, Doug. Crabb and Hunt.

The intermediate and primary school competitions will be advanced a further stage when the second series of games will he played. The programme for to-morrow will he as follows :—- Intermediate. —Glen Massey v. Wanderers. at Glen Massey; Claudelands B v. Pukemiro, at Seddon Park, 1.30 p.m., Mr W. A. King. Claudelands Hovel's A, a bye. Referees for Ihe primary school games lo he played at Seddon Park at 1.30 p.m. will he Mr W. Miller and Mr L. IC. Mead.
