MOTORING DE LUXE.

THE PERFECT CAR.

DODGE’S OUTSTANDING POINTS. Motoring de luxe can only be obtained by-riding in the new Dodges, the envy ; of all motorists and the pride of all owners. The 1935‘models of all motor vehicles are among the most popular attractions at this year's exhibition and all stands are well patronised, day and night, but it is a noticeable 'fact- that the crowds linger the longest at the stall where the new Dodge cars are displayed. This is because the Dodge cars have more outstanding new features and, besides being the most attractive in appearance, are the last word in automobile perfection. The Dodge !’ company’s products cater for all tastes and all pockets. No one in search of a car could pass by the magnificent range of cars which the Dodge company puts out, some of which are on exhibition at the right of the main entrance door to the Show. No one can pass them by without admiration; more than a a few ilnger long and sooner or later make a purchase. You may go further and fare worse, but no matter how far you go you will never fare better than a Dodge—the car which holds the supremacy of motordom., The specifications of this magnificent car explain something of this pre-eminence. Extra power, phenomenal speed, remarkable economy and a negligible maintenance cheque are brought by the magnificent 1935 ultramodern engine which is cooled'by a powerful centrifugal pump. This means better lubrication and longer life for your oil. Double-acting shock absorbers insure that the wheels glide over bumps without affecting the car, while the ride stabiliser keeps the car on an even plane when riding curvesAutomatic vacuum spark control advances or retards the spark to synchronise with the speed of the engine, preventing knocks, saving fuel and improving performance. Floating power engine mountings absorb all engine vibrations, thus saving wear and tear on car and passengers and greatly prolonging the life of the vehicle.

The comfort of the driver and passengers has been carefully studied, and the 1935 models have the whole of the seating accomodation so placed as to ensure the acme of comfort. Rear seat passengers enjoy front seat riding.

The spare wheel and tyre In certain models are carried in the builtin trunk at tiie rear of the car, whereas in other models- these essential extras are accomodated on one side of the vehicle, leaving the 'built-in trunk available for luggage and personal belongings. , The Dodge all-steel bodies —which are built In the Dodge factory—in these latest models now fit down over tiie frame and obviate many causes of irritating squeaks which have long been the bugbear of meticulous motorists. The body is rust proof and is insulated against sound, heat and cold —moreover, the safety afforded by the all-steel body is enhanced by the safely glass with which all the closed models are fitted. There are numerous other oustand:ng features in the specifications which alone make this car the doyen of motor manufacture. Visitors to Hie Show should not fail to inspect these world-famed cars. The exhibits as above mentioned are situated at the far end of the main annexe. The Auckland distributors are the Northern Automobiles, Ltd., of Albert Street, the Hamilton agents being J. D. Todd & Co., next to State Theatre, Victoria Street. 1053
