RAINFALL AT MATAMATA. The rainfall for April at MatamatS was 7.J9 Inches, which fell on 14 days, tlie heaviest fall being on April 21, when 2.80 inches were recorded, ill comparison with 2.58 inches, which fell on the corresponding day in 1934. The monthly total represents the heaviest fall since 1928, when 7.97 Inches lull.
