According to a cablegram received by Joseph Nathan and Company, Limited, from TrengrOuse and Nathan,/Limited, London, under date April 27, the London market for New Zealand butter Is steady at 77s per c-wt. White cheese is quoted at 44s per cwt. and coloured at 45s 6d. The market is steady. MARKETING REGULATIONS. DISCUSSED TN LONDON. AGREEMENT ON ALTERATIONS. (By Telegraph—Pross Association.! AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Advice that the marketing regulations adopted this season by the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board were discussed at a -meeting of the London Importers’ Association last week has been received. , The association decided to approach the Dairy Board for the mutual agreement'on alterations suggested by the experience gained of the regulations. It was agreed that changes in the scheme were necessary, and -some members were in favour of seeking the withdrawal of Hie regulations.

BOUNTIFUL AUTUMN EXPERIENCED The copious rains received in the Waikato this month and the consequent llush of feed arrested the drop in the production that was being experienced throughout the district. Although the exceptional growth of the past few weeks has proved a stimulus to production, making the period compare favourably with the -corresponding period last year, it will not compensate for the big drop experienced during the dry summer season. The main effect of the extra feed will be merely to prolong the Jactation pefiod and it is expected that production figures for the whole season will be considerably lower than those of last year. While th«growth of grass was welcomed in all quarters, many', sheep Hooks have been adversely affected by the Incidence of disease that was due to the sudden change from bare fields to luscious pasture. Facial eczema which has been prevalent In the Waikato during the past weeks Is stated to be'a dietetic trouble that can be attributed to tills change of feed.
