THEFT OF SCRIP.
MAN AND WOMAN CHARGED. REMAND FOR A WEEK, (By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A furtlier remand for a week was made in the case of William Campbell and Madge Munro, who were charged with • stealing scrip in New South Wales, the original warrant not yet having arrived from Sydney. A rule nisi for the issue of a habeas corpus writ has been made, and a motion to make it absolute is being argued in the Supreme Court this afternoon.
