Enclosed in a beautiful casket of rare New Zealand woods, and made by disabled soldiers, a letter' of farewell from Hie New Zealand womens’ instilufcs and the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was presented to Lady Blcdisloe this afternoon by Hie respective presidents, Mcsdames It. Paterson and M. M. Ward. The. letter expressed appreciation for assistance, and gratitude for many kindnesses received from Her Excellency.
