WHERE BOLSHEVISM LEADS TO.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Mr Thomas liassotl is amused at my assertions on Marxian Socialism. So .shallow is the understanding of (hose who accept the Bolshevik leaching, that they can only think in terms of capitalism, profits and the proletariat. They will not face the facts or the philosophy of I lie Lenin-Slalin regime. To say that “Marx, Engels, Lenin and Co. did not. attempt to force anything upon anybody” is not time to facts. How did these usurped rulers of the Soviets solve the unemployment question? They first of all used murder and then forced peasants into the towns. How do the Bolshevik supporters uphold the following law of the Soviets: "Upon a girl attaining her eighteenth year she must register for national service, with its attendant evils." Bather a sound logical conclusion! Marxist-Loninist economies begin, continue and end in one thing—material production. As there is no Creator, no heaven, no hell, no nothing after this life, wc must just produce,
and produce more —what?. I answer, Marxian-Leninist robots. What the Mew Zealand Soviet sympathisers do not know, or will not admit, is that Stalin and Co. have collared the power, and arc using I lie Russian people, and eventually the world, for their own aggrandisement. 'Furthermore, these rulers arc using Hie same methods as the old Tsarist regime to attain world-wide power and tyranny. To soliloquise upon "a materialism of historical interpretation,” etc., is pure waste of time and energy, because the Soviet rulers of Russia do not allow persons to think. r l’lie flunking,• the order of living, your standard of living, is all done for you, by the authorities; and woe betide | you if you complain of the methods j employed, because the 0.G.1’.U. is j near at hand, and a revolver shot or j Siberia is the alternative. ! Another lacior rue Mew Zealand ; Bolshevik advocate does not take into , account: We in New Zealand are in a land of plenty—a condition of things 1 not yet altallied in Russia, for they have famines there.- A great thought expressed by these advocates is that they who do not work shall not cat. How absurd is this doctrine when we are producing machines that are doing all llie work! our trouble is lu distribute tlie purchasing power to the people that lias been dislodged by llie . ( machines. As llie Prince oT Wales said a short time ago, "II is al llie consumption end of our system that j the solution must he found of Ibis • j economic problem.’' Britain is loying i with Hie principles of wlial Is termed j j l
social credit when they give “doles” to the unemployed, pensions to the aged, and distributing foodstuff's at nominal prices in distressed areas.—l am, etc., PRO PATRIA. Hamilton, December 1, 1034.
