MAINTENANCE ORDER,
VARIATION GRANTED. GTCKS IN COURT AGAIN. A slight variation in her maintenance order was made by Mr s. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magis-, (rate's Court to-day, to Ruby Emily Gick against Robert Lewis Click.*’ Ruby Emily Gick, tlie complainant, asked His Worship for an increase in (lie order, as she had been in the hospital and was not allowed lo work for three months, tplie produced a medical certilicale staling that she would have to undergo another operation shortly.
In opposing Hie variation Robert Lewis Gick stated that lie was receiving £3 las per week, and could not afford to pay more than 22s <'>d a week lo his wife.
In increasing the order to 25s per week, Mr Patterson stated that the circumstances had undoubtedly allerod since the oeder was made, and lie was entitled to change it. A wife, in such cases. usually received onelliird or her husband's earnings, and he considered complainant should also receive one-third.
Complainant lolcl His Worship that slip, was still not satisfied and that she | would appeal against his decision.
